beatlelover45223, I was only joking when I said "mean mommy"...lol. My dad died when I was a baby, and since there were 9 of us kids, my mom was pretty busy just trying to get us raised. Not a lot of extra money lying around for a long trip to see The Beatles! I was lucky that my older brother was a fan, and he had all their early albums. I can remember listening to those almost daily. My mom loved music, too, but her tastes ran more to country and bluegrass. She will be 87 in December, and if she hears a Beatles song, she knows who it is. She played guitar by ear and there were many evenings spent with us sitting around on the porch, with a neighbor or two, singing. Nice memories. I love to sing, but no one loves to hear me unless they need a laugh! That didn't stop me, though. I sang at the top of my lungs with every song I liked. LOL!
Were you one of the fangirls who screamed, cried and pulled your hair? I love watching footage of the hysteria surrounding The Beatles. They were truly amazing!

Not me, I was all about sit down, be quiet and listen to these amazing guys but I was in the middle of all the chaos, way back in the back, like the fans demos back there were seen?
Kattatude, your Mom sounds like a great woman, what a daunting task to raise 9 children, my hat is off to her!
We still sing when we get together as family, one of my sisters plays guitar, so she is always ready to get us all singing, most of my family lives up east/coast, I am in the midwest with one sister close by, boy do I still miss all my family, my Dad loved sitting back and hearing all his girls gab and sing, sadly he has been gone almost 5 years, my Mom turns 88 next month! My parents raised 7 of us, all my siblings are still here and healthy, are your's?

I lost my youngest brother to leukemia 12 years ago. I miss him so much yet today. I still have the rest of my brothers and sisters, and we all live within 3 hours of each other.

Hello there! I am D'jinni and I am new to this forum. I have loved The Beatles since I was very, very young (around age 2), my parents were lucky enough to be at the last Beatles concert at Candlestick Park and my mom was lucky enough to have met John Lennon. What else? I am a mother of 3, and my youngest child is an unabashed Beatlemaniac. She is a Paul fan all the way. I am a John fan, but I adore all of the lads and find them to be talented, charismatic and handsome.
I have read a million books about The Beatles, and heard every song, outtake, bootleg, etc., I am a Beatle geek, as it were.
That's about it.
Here is what I look like, for anyone who is interested.
Oh, in addition to being a Beatles fan, I am an artist and dj, I write poetry and I sew. I live on the west coast, by the beach, I have a great job and I am married to the original bass player for Linkin Park (Kyle Christner, misspelled Christener on most Linkin Park sites...grrrr).
Hello all!
