BRIAN MATTHEW: Well it seems to be, getting to be a habit these days to get as many requests for the Beatles, as we do for anything else combined. Um, we do read 'em all, and I've picked one of them out, I'd like you to read this, George, if you would, 'cause this is a very special request.
GEORGE: Yeah. Well, this is a request from Peggy Lucas of Matlock, who's asked for us to play anything, for Miss Valerie Holmes, who's fifteen years old in Sheffield Royal Infirmary.
BRIAN MATTHEW: Now here's our top beat group, the Beatles. Their fame it seems has now spread to Egypt, from where we received the card that John is going to read.
JOHN: This is from Bik and it says 'please could you play any Beatle record for Dot, Carl, Yvonne...' Now we'd like to do Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally". Oh yes.
BRIAN MATTHEW: Obviously, nearly all the requests for the Beatles this week were for their big one, "From Me To You". And here's a request we had from Seninaga, in Germany.
RINGO: This one's from Thelma Fox and it's for her boyfriend.
BRIAN MATTHEW: "From Me To You".
