Default Stella Shop

I read somewhere yesterday that Stella McCartney is about to open her first shop in an old disused church in Notting Hill, London with a view to opening more in Europe.

Disused church to be studio and restaurant

Stella McCartney is to open her first shop in a disused church near Portobello Road in west London. The designer has invested 1 million in the property, which, when overhauled, will house a shop, offices, a design studio and an Indian restaurant. McCartney Jr, who since April 2001 has designed for Gucci, is thought to have applied for planning permission to convert the building, and hopes to open the shop before the end of the year. She also plans to expand her business by opening another branch of her burgeoning fashion empire in New York.
