Default Live At The BBC

Is this album (cd? whatever you want to call it) any good? I've been thinking of buying it (off Ebay- of course ) but wanted other people's opinion first. So... What do ya'll think?

Yep! Love it! I think its really good and no beatle fan should be without it. Its quite an original idea and not just a repackaged Beatles compilation like they keep churning out. I just wish they would release a sequal album, or the whole pop goes the Beatles seris would be cool. Ah, one day, pehaps.

Oooh, yes, buy it, buy it! It's wonderful hearing the Fabs cover the songs that influenced them, plus there are some neat "live" versions of their own songs. There's some funny little interview clips on it, too.

A lot of the other BBC tracks are floating around on bootleg CDs, if you can find them.

It has very good songs, most of them in versions superior than the originals (as usual).

It's got plenty of good songs. Plus it shows just how great were The Beatles playing live, AND their natural sense of humour... and their musical tastes... and it's the only official CD where you find "Some Other Guy", "Don't Ever Change", "Memphis, Tennessee" and "I'll Be On My Way"...

Aren't those enough reasons already? Buy it now!

Sorry to revamp a really old topic, but I needed this... I just found out that the final guitar riff that John plays on "The Ballad Of John & Yoko" is exactly the same guitar riff George plays in his solo for "Lonesome Tears In My Eyes". I was listening to the latter song the other day and found out... perhaps everyone had found out previously but it was an astonishing discovery for me. OK, go on with your lives now.

Yes. I think it's a must have. Lots of energy and fun in these tracks. Recorded at a time when fame was new and exciting for them.

I love this CD, it's one of my favorites! I wish they'd release a Volume Two with even more BBC tracks, seriously, though I have a good many of them on bootlegs.

Definitely worth picking up -- it's like getting a CD of all new Beatles songs, and it's awesome!

The Beatles Live At the BBC is like a history lesson in rock and roll.
