Not yet, I've been broke for a really, really long time. I told my mom I wanted it for Christmas though.

Get the CD. It's EXCELLENT! John tears the place up with Too Much Monkey Business and George sets the place on fire with his awesome guitar playing.

What are you waiting for?! Just get that CD!

You got that right, beatlebangs! That song, and also their versions of "Sweet Little Sixteen" and "Oh My Soul" are adrenaline pumping!!! Great, great, great rock and roll.

And getting to hear them perform "Some Other Guy" is alone worth the price of the CD! (Well, that and "oh my arms"...)

There are lots of great tracks on here: Too Much Monkey Business(that was mentioned), Soldier of Love, Keep Your Hands Off My Baby, I Just Don't Understand, just to name a few.

Their comments are very funny too. John is particularly funny and charming.(Can you say it in your famous James Mason impersonation voice ) George's comment on how he's been singing Roll Over Beethoven for 28 yrs. now (he's probably only 19 or 20) A lot of this stuff is priceless!

LOL! Yeah, that's great! You have to listen to the album through a few times to catch all the funny stuff. When I first got Live at the BBC I was still having problems with the accent, but once I understood what they were saying, it was hilarious! John and his wit.

Live at The BBC is one of my favourites! It's soo lively, witty, historic, memorable, hilarious and then some! It has soo many great songs, and the bits in between are really neat. The only thing is, you shouldn't listen to it when trying to fall asleep (like I usually do with music), because you'll be up until the end because it's soo lively and exciting! And lennonluvr, I also like that song: "So How Come". THe old songs are most of my favourites, because the Rock & Roll from that time was something else, it gives you that 'shot of rhythm and blues, with just a little rock and roll on the side...' (another great song). Well that was just my two cents...
Hope you get it for Christmas, good luck! Happy Christmas by the way!

Yeah, but it's George's expert guitar playing that REALLY sets the place ablaze! Damn! He was GOOD! He really ROCKED that place.

Oh, and I LOVE "Too Much Monkey Business" and my personal favorite is "I'll Be On Way," a beautiful McCartney piece. Hats off this collection!
