Beatles trivia test: A V.V.V hard one.
We all know that the members of the Beatles wrote songs for other people. But does anyone here think that they know all 22 of them that were released while the band was still together? This does include songs that were written not only as Lennon/McCartney, but as McCartney, and Harrison. This doesn't include songs that the Beatles recorded at a later date, like, 'I Call Your Name' which was originally recorded by Billy J Kramer, but the Beatles released at a later date. Good luck.

Very well done. Bearkat77 got 19! LenMac, you got 2. That's 1 more needed to be found!
Give Peace A chance was written for the Plasic Ono Band, but as I recall, John was a member.

Those Were The Day's - Didn't McCartney just produce the record? There are 2, not 1 left to be found. Keep guessing.

Re: Beatles trivia test: A V.V.V hard one.
Nah he wrote it, you can tell.
If you look on Jerry's site you'll find a Mary Hopkin web-site which clearly states this
Also, my maths isn't great but, I thought I got 3?
Bad To Me and World Without Love. . . they're right....right?
Could it be any of these then:
'I'll Be On My Way',and 'Oo You'?
I don't know who covered them.

Does Paul's soundtrack for the Haley Mills movie THE FAMILY WAY count? I guess it doesn't exactly fit this category, but, you all answered so quickly, and I didn't check this site for 2 days, so I was too late to put my 2 cents in!
Many of us went to see that movie just to listen to Paul's music!!!!!

Re: Beatles trivia test: A V.V.V hard one.
McCartney recorded the demo all by himself in 1968 or '69.

Re: Beatles trivia test: A V.V.V hard one.
McCartney wrote a song for Peggy Lee in the early '70's,but by that time Ms Lee's show business days were pretty much over.Does this count? If i may ask, does anybody know or remember anything of the Masked Mauraders? And didn't Jennon write something for David Peele?
