Re: best beatle mate
Tim, that's not true. George found out about the whole India thing by first being interested in the sitar (A Hard Days Night) and then was told by friends about Ravi Shankar, who then took him into it head first. George TOOK Patti to India.

Re: best beatle mate
wasn't it Patti who first heard of The Maharishi's lecture to be at the London Hilton? My understanding was that she told George about it, who then invited the other Beatles, and this led to The Beatles' attending the seminar in Bangor

Re: best beatle mate
Linda, Jane and Pattie, with total sure.
Linda was more than just a girl, she was dinamic, intelligent and a (ahnn) musician. And she was a great photographer, of course!
Pattie is a girl who made George cry... She become Layla before leave him. And it was so cruel...
Jane was beautiful, but Paul didnīt like her (really). The one and most love of his life was, and always will, Linda Eastman.

Re: best beatle mate
I think all the wives and/or girlfriends are beautiful in their own right. Who's to say what beauty is...or isn't. Who ever can make John,Paul,George and Ringo happy are alright in my book.

Re: best beatle mate
Linda wins, hands down.
She was beautiful, both physically and as a person and Paul loved her (and I'm sure still does) a lot.

The incorrect thing would be to pick one over the other as if they were objects.
