Sure, we'll all have a down by the bayou and watch all of the Beatles' movies. Maybe even camp out there and have a Beatles-singaround around the camp fire.

This week, the Beatles greatest hits album, "1", is at number twenty-four on the USA album charts. "Wingspan: Hits and History" by Paul McCartney is at number two.

You DID say we'd have a Beatles singaround, so I assume you meant we'd be singing around the Beatles. The Beatles WILL be there, won't they???

Yeah, me too! That is MY ALL TIME FAVORITE Beatles movie! I love it! It really is a timeless classic!

Ever since I was little, I have known all the lines to that movie. Last December, it was brought back to local theaters and you can imagine how the folks sitting near me must have felt. There I was, joining in on the songs (there were a few others who did as well) and saying the lines with the Beatles. It would REALLY have been great if the whole theater had been packed with a group of enthusiast. You know, like minded individuals.

I just love that movie.

AHDN is a timeless classic. It's just one of those movies you could watch countless dozens of times and each time you do, it's just as fresh and funny as it was in 1964!

I was able to see 'A Hard Days Night' on the silver screen. In good old Bloomington-Normal they have an old theater (recreated to make the inside look like it was when it was built in 1937). This theater will play classic movies like Casablanca, The Sound of Music etc. When Yellow Submarine came out they got that too. I saw YS. Finally, 'AHDN' came to that theater and I saw it with a friend. The only other place closest to me that was playing it was a theater in Chicago. I was unable to get to Chicago, so Thank God it came to the "Normal" Theater! The movie was great as always, especially with the remastering and such.

GreenGrass! Glad you're here!

Best video is the one of the Beatles' first trip to America in 1964! Hop into your cool blue 1963 Ford Falcon (the Blue Bird of Happiness) and get ready to fly to 1964!

Oh, I JUST LOVE that video! I really, really, really, really, REALLY love it! It gets resounding applause and a hearty YEAH, YEAH, YEAH from me and I'm not alone there!

And I STILL say "A Hard Day's Night", with the Beatles' first US visit being the best video!

Amen to that! This is also my favorite 'combo'! ;)
AHDN is the best move indeed (I am really (really!) surprised not everyone agrees!), and The first US visit is the best documentary/dvd there is about The Beatles. It gives you a unique feeling of being there, with the boys! Those shots in the car, driving into to town after arriving at the airfield, man, that's a absolute unique piece of history, and you are sitting there 'at the front row', together with the guys, as one of the band: priceless!!! How they hear themselves on the radio and things like that: the looks on their faces... I just love that movie (and the extra's on the dvd too!). Awesome stuff.

A few weeks ago I looked at the Help! dvd, simply because I bought it when it was released and so I had to watch it ;) but I had a hard time making it to the end (I already seen it before btw, but never in one go). I can't remember laughing once, while I laugh easily... Luckily the music was great.
MMT is an arty mess, I've never seen YS from beginning to end (because The Beatles hardly have something to do with it all), and Let it be is nice (the best of the rest anyway) but it always makes me feel sad...: all I can think is 'Thank God they made Abbey Road after that, because if it had ended like this...!'

I've yet to see Let it Be :/ but, I loved all their films I HAVE seen. I think my favorite would have to be.... A Hard Day's Night. Classic :]
