Rock's most shocking Moment

I just saw MTV and they had a show of Rock's most shocking moments. Lennon's murder was at Number one- followed by Jackson and his molestation charges and Kurt Cobain's suicide. Since MTV is very youth-oriented and most of the people there had to be in thier teens when it happened, it was good to know this is still seen as terrible as it did when it happened. Sometimes, people forget, but this time, they haven't.

Also, John saying the Beatles were bigger than Christ came in at 10.

Wasn't the special on VH1?

Anyways, John's death was/is a terrible tragedy for the world of rock and roll. It wasn't something like Elvis's death (although it still was shocking) where maybe it was sort of expected whilst John was a man getting on with his life and was happy.

It's good that people still remember this and care about it.

yeh i saw that specail like 5 times (im such a nerd)lol but yeah john didnt deserve to die and although i wasnt alive i cryed all 5 times lol

I was lucky enough to find out the program was on when there were ony six more "moments" to go. I didn't have to watch the whole stinkin' show. [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img] It doesn't surprise me in the least that his murder was the most shocking.

I saw that special. I think it was on VH1. I've only seen the top ten of the list though. It was sad to see it...
