AHDN is coming back out!

I was talking to my music teacher the other day and he told me the coolest thing, they are going to put AHDN out again after the clean it up a bit, but he also said that it's only going to be in a few citys in the U.S.A. I don't know about if it will be out any were else in the world, but it should be out by the end of this year.

I was told when I was in London at the beginning of the year that it was getting all cleaned up and re-released so no doubt there will be a UK release as well. The guy also told me that they were planning on doing that to Let It Be too a few months following AHDN.
I bet we won't get either in NZ....

All I know is it will be released on DVD and VHS, I think,in March of 2001 or so it says at Amazon.com. But if it comes to the theaters nywhere near where I live I am going to see it opening night.

For anybody in the Chicago area, it's going to be shown at the Piper's Alley theatres on North Avenue beginning Dec 8th. At least this is the info I got from a friend who works for a movie promo company......

does anyone know if it will be shown here. i dont think ive heard it.

AHDN was reviewed again by the N.Y. critics and (again) received FOUR STARS! Really, now, what did they expect? Did they think its appeal, great music and good fun would wane through the years? It's a classic, and will remain so forever. As a matter of fact, four stars aren't enough, in my humble, unbiased opinion!

I'm going if it plays near me!

There was a review in Entertainment Weekly and the person who reviewed it said it was just a as good as the 25 or so times he/she when it first came out.

Personally I'm on the edge of my seat waiting to find out when it will be in my area.

I'ts coming out on March 20, 2001! I found that out on Barnes and Noble.com ( A book store) I also saw a picture of the front! It's different, but it's sooo cute! Cool huh?

Sorry my info last week was wrong - it's at the Century theatres in Chicago rather than Piper's Alley. Went on Saturday afternoon and loved it, of course. You can spot the Beatles fans in the audience by the fact that we laugh BEFORE the jokes rather than after! I'd encourage anybody to go - the Century theatres are pretty new and have great sound and stadium seating (good for us short chicks). Word is that it will be playing for a couple weeks, but you know how things change.....

I heard AHDN was being re-released..I was so excited I only got a like 2 minutes of sleep.

I gotta find a bunch of Baltimorons (ahem, "Baltimoreans"..) to go in a huge group. That'd be sweet Hehe

Does anybody else watch parts over and over and over again... so much in fact that they've begun to wear down the tape? I do that in the train scene where they're trying to make sense out of Paul's grandfather.. Aww hell, the enitire tape is worn down since it's been watched so many times.
