be honest who here likes me
i mentioned on random thoughts that this one guy in school gave me a cool pair of sunglasses so naturally i thought he saw us as friends but i learned today thats not the truth he doesn't :( so that got me wondering do people on here REALLY think i'm cool or are they just being nice

I'm sorry it didn't work out that he would like you as a friend, JLG, but I don't think there's a connection between that and how we feel about you. I think sometimes people start to doubt when another person, purposely or inadvertently, hurts your feelings.
Also, it may be that he is shy and might not feel comfortable explaining how he feels about you. I agree with Lucy. If he gave you something, he probably at least likes you as a person.
