On "Getting Better"...

I like how you can barely make-out someone (Ringo? Paul?) counting-in the time underneath the choppy intro guitar chords....

"One, two, one, two, three, four......"

I know this doesn't really count as a "song" (as in, "offically released song"), but....

On The Anthology version of "No Reply", where they get close but the take breaks down, and John says, "...... well, at least we know what to do with it. S'good!".

Love that.

The laughter and sheer happiness on 'Ob La Di Ob La Da". Could there be a brighter, more mood-elevating song?

I think not!

They should prescribe, for people suffering from depression, listening to that track daily!

On "Sgt. Peppers..."....

John's rhythm guitar run right after the words, "... we hope you will enjoy the show!".

It's so John—raunchy and energetic!

On Baby's In Black, the first line where they join in such a sad way of singing "Oh dear what can I do" and then this "I'm feeling blue"

This could be considered a "big" thing, considering it's an integral part of the song. But since it's so nuanced, I am going to give myself a little leeway...

On "Paperback Writer".... John's single-strike, tremelo chords. It's brilliant, really. No strumming, just...

"Dear Sir or (jang!) Madame, will you read my (jang!) book it took me years to (jang!) write it will you take a (jang!) look..."

Listening to Abbey Road on this rainy first day of spring... and loving when Paul sings:

But oh, that magic feeling
Nowhere to go...

Makes me think of summer afternoons when I was a kid.

In "Medley: Rip it Up / Shake, Rattle and Roll / Blue Suede Shoes," I like the part in the 'Blue Suede Shoes' part where Paul sings really loudly.

"You can do anyTHING that you wanna DO!"

I just love the ending of Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey

1) the bass riff followed by
2) repetitive guitar
3) and all of the shouting, hooting and all

BRILLIANT!

Near the end of Dear Prudence I just adore the piano trill! For some reason it makes me real excited and happy.

I like the "blues riff" on the...harpsichord? in "Piggies" from 0:56-0:57.
I also like the piano at the end of "Tomorrow Never Knows" because it sounds like lounge music...so different from the rest of the song.

I like how George says the word "tell" in "Do you Want To Know a Secret?"

I love how the acoustic guitar in Blackbird and Long, Long, Long are set up so poorly that the strings are fretting out and roiled in fret buzz. This is the biggest band in the freaking world. And they can't even get a decent guitar set up. Is Mal to blame for this? The fact is, it doesn't really matter. Paul and George could have picked up a Sears and Roebuck entry level guitar and it would have still been a classic performance.

Another thing I love is the way McCartney uses his call and response vocal from the original Long and Winding Road demo when performing it now. Don't keep me waiting here [Don't keep me waiting].

The entire bass line from a song is a pretty major part of the song... not a "little" thing.
