Default Holy Grail of All Things Beatle

Asking the experts out there at memorabelia and Beatles related gear, what do you consider the "ultimate" Beatles item eg. guitar, rare album, hand written lyrics etc.

I posted this before, but it seems to be lost.

At a Beatlefest I saw at one of the vendors the handwritten lyrics to I Am The Walrus on what was a bit more than a scrap piece of paper. that was pretty cool.

Harb would probably tell you all about the Butcher cover. I'd like to get my hands on one too. Something else that would be an "ultimate" is an original Sgt. Pepper uniform.

I heard that Paul's Birth Certificate is still in someone's collection. I don't know if this is true, but that would have to rank up there as "rare collectible" as it's one of a kind. (course, if I had it, I'd return it to him on his birthday)

Gee, I thought for sure one of you would have said Pauls' 500/1 hofner beatle bass. It seems to be the ultimate symbol for the Beatles, and I'm guessing is worth more than any Beatles album or lyric sheet.

I think the ultimate item to own would be the hand written lyrics to Hey Jude, or some other extremely popular and classic song.

I'm pretty sure I read that Julian was the anonymous bidder who bought the handwritten lyrics to "Hey Jude." He has a good reason to have them though, so I don't think they'll be in anyone's collection but his.

I would say it would be Johns '58 Rickenbacker. He always counted it among HIS fave possesions...so why shouldnt I have it? Yeah, that'll happen. The same time Harb gives me his LP collection
