what a great movie based on the harrowing Let It Be recordings, run, don't walk, and get yourself a copy. Amazon has some "import" copies, I bought one, they're pretty good. I think Pepperland said they have some "import" copies also. good luck.

I agree. It isn't always easy to watch, especially in the earlier parts of the movie, where the conflict and unhappiness is most palpable. But from the moment they move to Apple, the mood improves considerably, and the rooftop concert is really moving. The music itself is some of my all time favorite Beatles material.

(I have an import copy too. Its okayóbetter than the import of Magical Mystery Touróbut I can't wait until Apple does it up properly)

Cool

Definitely a must have video for any Beatles fan. Though there are tense moments from time to time, it is an excellent movie. Even with the pressures they experienced at the time, they could still get along admirably when the music begins.

It's quite a good film but for me it isn't something I could sit down and watch again. The highlight for me is the rooftop concert at the end.

Yeah, do get the dvd, it's worth it. Every Beatles fan should see it. Though I find it quite sad. Being the end and all.

It's not bad, but worth for the Rooftop Concert alone. Unfortunately I only have it on video right now, still gotta get around to getting the DVD

I avoided watching it for a long time basically because I thought i was going to see four guys fighting non-stop... But when I finally got around watching it I was pleasantly surprised!! Contrary to the idea I had, they're just working most of the time and having a few laughs. Paul and Ringo get into a pretty cool piano duet at some pont. And the Rooftop gig is a must!!

I think it's kinda cool. They show the beatles practicing and performing at the rooftop concert. And it also shows the beatles aurguing every now and then, which I think is kinda funny . It shows Ringo and Paul having a duet on the piano. John forgets part of the lyrics to "Don't Let Me Down", which is hilarious watching!

yes, beatlesfan4life, it's definitely worth watching. there's an overall sense of weariness to it (and paul is vain and overbearing), but the ocassional glimmers of camaraderie and the rooftop performance lighten the heavy load. this period in beatles history can't be overlooked.

I have Let It Be on a bootleg VHS!!!!! I haven't watched it in ages and it has another thing stuck on the end of it of John and Yoko going off in a hot air balloon all dressed in black.....that's John and Yoko dressed in black, not the hot air balloon!!!!!
