Oh, yes. I hate rap and so called modern R'n'B (Rich and Beautiful?) music.
We should have had an Eurovision thread.

And about Eurovision, I guess the Russian tune fitted in the spirit of the competition - it's all about campy, weird, sequin gowns (or gothic stuff, as of the last couple of years) etc etc.

Not that I liked it, anyway - I prefered the French entry, but they limped in the second-to-last position :(
The French were funny! Especially the drummer with little angel wings!!!!
I liked Romania. Not a very sophisticated song (actually it looked like the guys who were singing were drunk ). But it was funny it quite distinguishable compared to the others. I also liked it when they suddenly started singing in Russian!

All right, let's get back to the topic because BadLittleKid seem to be frustrated.

I hate all songs by Black Eyed Peas!!! My classmates play such songs in our classroom. I can't stand it so I leave

Perhaps next year we should have an Eurovision thread set :)

And Black Eyed Peas, well - I guess their songs have been overplayed to the point of exhaustion. "Don't Cry" became the kind of tune that makes me want to throw the radio outside the window...!

What I REEEEEALY hate is a Ukranian artist Verka Serduchka who is actually a man, dressed like a woman. You could see her (him) performing on the Eurovision. She (he) is popular here (unfortunately) and now her songs are played all over the place! I really want to kill someone when I hear that... er... "singing".

Exactly. I liked older rap, like Sugar Hill Gang (go on, laugh. ). I will admit some of the ganster stuff is a guilty pleasure though, as weird as it sounds. There's a rap group out called De La Soul who arent too bad.

And like Alex, I like some of Yoko's stuff as well. I mean it isnt the best, but some of it is actually very impressive.

I really dont like that new Avril Lavine song, "Girlfriend". Its catchy, but its rather annoying. The lyrics are so girly and silly and I thought Avril didnt like that image last time I checked?

I sort of liked the song until I saw the video....way too "cute" and "preppy" for Avril.

This is why I`m hot by MIMS
horus:
This is why I’m hot(x2)
This is why(x2)
This is why I’m hot
This is why I’m hot(x2)
This is why(x2)
This is why I’m hot

I’m hot coz I’m fly
You ain’t coz you’re not
This is why (x2)
This is why I’m hot(x2)

Verse 1:

This is why I’m hot
I dont gotta rap
I can sell a mill sell you nothing on the track
I represent New York
I got it on my back
And they say that we lost it
So I’mma bring it back
I love the dirty dirty
Coz n***** show me love
The ladies start to bounce
As soon as I hit the club
But in the Midwest
They love to take it slow
So when I hit the H
I watch you get it on the floor
And if you needed hyphy
I take it to the bay
Frisco to Sac town
They do it everyday
Coppin a Hollywood
As soon as I hit LA
I’m in that low low
I do it the cali way
And when I hit the Chi
People say that I’m fly
They like the way I dress they like (they like my) my attire
move crowds from side to side
They ask me how I do it and simply I reply

(Chorus)

Verse 2:
This is why I’m hot
Catch me on the block
Every other day
Another b**** another drop
16 bars, 24 pop
44 songs, n**** gimme what you got
I’m in there driving cars
Push them off the lot
I’m into shutting stores down so I can shop
If you need a bird I can get it chopped
Tell ne what you need you know I get ‘em by the flock
I call my hommie black meet me on the ave
I hit wash heights with the money in the bag
we into big spinners
See my pimping never dragged
Find me with different women that you n***** never had
For those who say they know me know I’m focused on my cream
Playa you come between you’d better focus on the beam
I keep it so feen the way you see me lean
And when I say I’m hot my n**** this is what I mean

(Chorus)

Verse 3:
This is why I’m hot
Shorty see the drop
Ask me what I paid and I say yeah I paid a ?quap?
And then I hit the switch that take away the top
So chicks around the way they call me cream of the crop
They hop in the car
I tell them all about
We hit the studio they say they like the way I record
I gave you black train and I did you wrong
So everytime I see them and they tell me that’s their song
They say I’m the bomb
They love the way the charm hanging from the neck
And compliments the arm which compliments the ear then comes the gear
So when I hit the room the shorties stop and stare
Then niggas start to hate rearrange their face
Little do they know I keep them things by waistside
I reply nobody gotta die
Similar to lil wiz coz I got the fire
(Chorus)

I get, it your "HOT", no need to write a d*** song about it.

and the one that goes BAALLLIIIINNNNN . So tired of that song. Kids in school will talk down the hallways going BAALLLIIIINNNNN and its like UGGGG.

How I know these song is my African-American friends and the kids on my radio love rap. Thats why I ALWAYS have my iPod with me.

Oh, those are some good ones! "Seasons In The Sun" was one of those songs we could not stand as kids. There are lots of songs from the 70's that I didn't like when I was a kid, but have grown to appreciate a little more now that I am an adult. "Seasons In The Sun" is not one of those songs!

If I'm not mistaken, wasn't Seasons In The Sun (and Billy Don't Be A Hero, for that matter) mentioned by some in the "guilty pleasures" thread a while back?

I just cannot stand the Pointer Sisters and think "Automatic" is the worst thing they ever recorded. That one never fails to piss me off.

"Fear Not the Reaper" is another irritant. I never liked this 1979 stinker and I also got sick of people calling it "Romeo & Juliet." Good grief, mention those two star crossed Shakespearian lovers in anything and the rest of the content is eclipsed and all that remains in most consciousnesses is Romeo & Juliet! That and considering the fact that I hate the song.

I never liked "Reminiscing" by the Stinky River Band, a 1978 stinker. "Hot Child in the City" was not one that ever appealed to me either. Another stinker from 1978.

Chic Who would want to revisit "Dance, Dance, Dance" (they must have worked hard to learn the word to that one) and "Freak Out - le freaque c'est chic" - IKKKK!
