Re: Hi- \'Paul is Dead\' theory?
i actually totally agree with the one guy on this site ( http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Lounge/1214/...the "he blew his mind out in a car" )who "flamed" the maker of the site. you know, the one where the maker of the site was freaking out about the grammar errors? lol. i think they guy shouldnt have taken it out in that manner. but i do agree with him.
PAUL IS NOT DEAD. thats what i think, and i think thats what most people think.
Thanks for the site!!!!!!

Re: Hi- \'Paul is Dead\' theory?
I have read a great book on the Paul is Dead Theory: "The Walrus Was Paul". Lots of great stories, photos and "death clues".
Quite a story. At this point, the author's name is escaping me.

Welcome to Beatlelinks, OhDarling. We hope you will enjoy the show. "The Walrus Was Paul" is a good book for anyone interested in the PID hoax. The author's name is R. Gary Patterson.

Re: Hi- \'Paul is Dead\' theory?
There's an issue of Batman from 1970 (222) which actually deals with the 'Paul is Dead' rumours. The band that Batman and Robin investigates is called the Twists but is clearly patterned after the Beatles. Anyways, Batman and Robin try to determine if Saul really died when the other three members went off to the Himalyain Mountains to seek spiritual enlightenment as has been rumored. Eventually, they discover that Saul is the only member of the group who didn't die and it's the other three who were killed in that plane crash to the Himalyas. The group (Saul plus three impersonators) decides that they should start spreading hints that Saul is dead, the logic being that with the world's eyes on Saul, no one would ever suspect that the other three were phonies.
Of course the real Beatles never dropped rumours that Paul was dead and to illustrate how you can see whatever you want if you look long enough at something, the trivia book "Who was Eleanor Rigby and 908 Other something something" has a clever section on the Paul is Dead Myth. Not only does it list several clues that Paul is dead, but then goes on to list clues that it was John, George, and Ringo who died. ("On the cover of Revolver, all Beatles stare straight ahead, while John is looking to the right...").
