Sadly, he was not buckled in properly. I learned a serious lesson that day.

It's very tragic, but at least he went out doing what he does best. I'm sure he would have wanted it that way, at least he spent the last few laps side by side with his son.

No, no, no... he didn't go out doing "what he did best"... he went out doing what he "LIKED" best... big difference there.

And he LIKED it because he DID it best. If he was better at knitting, I'm sure he would have stayed home.

Re: What is the best Beatles movie?
You've gotta love it to be that good at it. Anyway, A Hard Day's Night Is still the best movie. It has the energy, and the originality. The songs aren't bad either.

Re: What is the best Beatles movie?
As mentioned earlier in another post, another time, when we watched Let It Be when it first came out, we did not know there was tension in the Beatles. We saw the movie with an open mind and got a peek at the way they worked. The famous scene was George telling Paul that he won't play if he doesn't want him to. Who knew then that they weren't happily still married to each other?
I would like to see it now knowing what I know about them.A fractured fairy tale. The dream is over.

Re: What is the best Beatles movie?
I like all the movies.....If I had to choose, it would be "A Hard Day's Night".
"The First U.S. Visit" is another great favorite.

Re: What is the best Beatles movie?
Oh, it's a good one, all right. Say, , Louisiana is a nice centralized location. Maybe we could go there...

This week, the Beatles greatest hits album, "1", is at number twenty-four on the USA album charts. "Wingspan: Hits and History" by Paul McCartney is at number two.
