Paul McCartney Encounters/Contacts

On July 3, 2018 I met a couple from Wirral who were in town visiting their son. The wife said she knew Paul before he was famous and at the time the then under-21 Paul was dating Krisha Henchcliff (spelling uncertain.) That was not a name that was familiar.

The husband said he rode many a bus in Liverpool including busses manned by Harry Harrison Sr. before George became famous. The couple said that “Ferry Across the Mersey” by Gerry & the Pacemakers is always played on the Liverpool to Wirral and back ferry.
