The "Art Of The Beatles" Exhibition, portraying 30 years of the group in the form of cartoons, paintings, photographs, album covers, lithographs and sculptures, continues.

At the 10th annual Prince's Trust Concert, Paul performs the songs "Long Tall Sally", "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Get Back". Backing Paul are the artists Phil Collins, Mark King (of Level 42), John Illsey and Mark Knopfler (of Dire Straits), Ray Cooper, Howard Jones, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Midge Ure, Bryan Adams and Tina Turner. The program is taped by the BBC for later broadcasting.

In the UK, Virgin Video releases the US program "Carl Perkins And Friends - A Rockabilly Session" on home video. The program features George and Ringo (taped October 21, 1985).

MTV's show "Week In Rock" features a short clip of George's appearance at Carl Perkins' concert.

"Daily Express" reports that Paul, George and Ringo have met to record instrumental themes for "The Beatles Anthology" in London, citing George Martin.

Ringo and his All-Starr Band perform at the Hiroshima Kousel Nenkin Kaikan, Hiroshima. (Japan tour).

Paul's art exhibition at the Kunstforum Lyz in Hamburg with 75 of his 500 private paintings.

The photo exhibition entitled "Linda McCartney's Sixties" continues at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.

In the US, CNN network broadcasts an episode in the series "Celebrate The Century". This episode focuses on the years 1961 to 1980.

The "News Of The World" prints a story that many of the Beatles' autographs were forged.

VH-1 in Europe airs the second MPL promo film to accompany the reissue of Wings' album Band On The Run on the program "Around And Around".

Organizers for a Paul McCartney concert hired three jets to spray dry ice into the clouds so it wouldn’t rain during the St. Petersburg concert.

Ringo and his All Starr Band perform at the Coors Amphitheatre in Englewood, Colorado.

"The Beatles! Backstage and Behind-the-Scenes Photo Exhibit" at The Crooked Tree Arts Center in Petoskey, Michigan.

The exhibit Linda McCartney retrospective is displayed at the Kunst Haus Wien in Vienna, Austria. The new exhibition is the first comprehensive retrospective of Linda McCartney’s work featuring 190 of her iconic photographs.

Yoko's Half-A-Wind Show - A Retrospective is displayed at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art, located north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It shows a major retrospective of well over a hundred works. The exhibition offers a rare opportunity to orient ourselves broadly in Yoko’s multifaceted artistic universe, pinpointing central themes of her career and demonstrating the diversity of media and disciplines with which she works.
