What did you like before you liked the Beatles?

I used to be in to Emenem Sadly
and video game soundtracks and Nsync.

When I was younger, so much younger than today...

I used to listen to Sugar Ray, Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Blu Cantrell, and all that Top 40 fluffy stuff. Things have gotten so much better with the Beatles.

what did I listen to before the beatles? did I even *have* a life before the beatles? let's see, I was 14 when the Anthology came on television and completely changed my life forever... to be perfectly honest with you, my life really started for me when I was 14. Everything before then just gets lost in a blur, you know?

didn't listen to anything really before i heard of the beatles..later on started listening to the smashing pumpkins,green day and till later on i really got into the beatles

There was no life before the Beatles, at least for me.

Before The Beatles I had only 2 cd's, one from a spanish singer and one from Blink 182. I have not listened those cd's in years.

I've been listening to the Beatles since I was 8 years old... so before that, probably kiddie records. Seriously, there is so much GOOD music I've listened to over the years thanks to the Beatles.

I distinctly remember listening to and singing along with yellow submarine when I was four years old in 1969. So there was no 'before the Beatles'!!!!

The Partridge family and "bubblegum" music.

Well, I always liked The Beatles, they were entertwined throughout my life.

I went thru many 'stages' of music.
1. Donny Osmond/Jasckon 5 and the bubblegum stuff
2. Boston, Journey, Elton John
3. Aerosmith, Lynard Skynard, Led Zep

And now I like most of it still, and have added Springsteen, Dylan, and quite a few others.

I didn't like anything and I was wondering why... Really, I wasn't not so much of music-fan...

I don't think I really liked anything before the Beatles... I got into the Fabs when I was about 12, before then I didn't really have my own music interests. I just listened to whatever my parents played.

Well my first real interest in music was Cleopatra. Dose anyone remeber them?? Because I don't....

And then sadly I got into The Backstreet boys and N*SYNC and all that crap but thankfully that did not last long. And not soon after I got into country with the Dixie Chicks and Shania Twain and stuff, and in truth I'm still into that kind of stuff and it’s the only other kind of music I really like.

My life before the Beatles was really messed up...

NSYNC, Backstreet Boys, Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, NSYNC again , Britney Spears , Dream Street, pop stuff like that.

I was only 8 when I "met the Beatles," but before that, I listened to country-and-western- the old stuff, like Johnny Cash. Hmm...at about 10 years old, I think I liked REM, Martina McBride and Sheryl Crow, and Alanis Morisette's "Jagged Little Pill" album. In fifth grade, my friends and I dressed up like the Spice Girls (I was Posh Spice) but I didn't like them, I only wanted to be a part of my friends' Halloween. The Beatles have always been a part of my life.

i use to listen to Christian stuff like Carmen. Most of the time just oldies. I was into Monty Python long before I was into the Beatles.

Let's see----hmmm. I seem to recall it was artists like: Rod Stewart, Carly Simon, Elton John, Linda Ronstadt, Van Halen. But, the first album I ever owned (years before these people) was a Carpenters album. Given to me by my Mom because she approved of them.
