Heather Road
So guess what has attracted Paul to pounds 2.5m home?
PAUL McCartney has sealed his love for Heather Mills by buying a pounds 2.5million mansion in - Heather Road.
The former Beatle had already rented the place, Courtney Love's home, for two weeks while he was in Los Angeles on business.
But it was the Heather Road address that seemed to swing it for the former Beatle.
Part of the deal was the grunge rocker-turned-actress moved out in a week and left some mementoes of her late husband, Kurt Cobain, for him.
Cobain committed suicide at his Seattle home in April 1994.
McCartney - who has revealed he's a fan of Popstars band Hear'Say - was still recovering from the cancer death of his beloved wife Linda in 1998 when he met Heather in the summer of the following year.
He first saw her at an awards show when she appealed for help with her landmine victims' charity, The Heather Mills Trust.
Macca tracked down her phone number - initially to discuss charity work.
But he soon began to plot meetings just so he could see the former swimwear model.
The couple refused to talk publicly about their blossoming romance for nearly a year.
But they thrilled a TV audience last October by finally admitting their love in front of the studio cameras.
Heather appeared on ITV's Stars in Their Eyes, determined not to talk about her relationship with the millionaire musician.
But Macca secretly called the show's producers and asked if he could appear as a surprise guest.
He then emerged from the wings and gave the astonished blonde beauty a lingering kiss, declaring: "Yeah, I love her."
The couple have refused to listen to critics who have questioned their romance.
Heather, who lost her leg in a road accident in 1993, has described Sir Paul as her "knight in shining armour" and "the most romantic man I have ever met".
He has spoken of how Heather brought the "romance back in his life" after the death of Linda.
But it has taken Macca's children some time to accept his new girlfriend.
It has been rumoured Sir Paul and Heather will tie the knot in June this year.
But the ex-Beatle has denied they have any plans to wed in the near future.

Musician shells out £1m for fiancee
Sir Paul McCartney has bought a £1 million house for Heather Mills. The former Beatle splashed out on the four-bedroom Edwardian property in Hove, Sussex, as an early wedding present for his fiancee. The house was built in the early 20th century and has views of the English Channel. Mills, who loves walking her dogs on the beach, spent £250,000 on a five-bedroom house in Hove last year to be close to Sir Paul’s farm in Rye, but McCartney decided that a grander property was in order now that the couple are to be man and wife. He is said to have bought the new house at a knock-down price after another celebrity dawdled over the sale. A source said: 'The vendor is pleased it's gone to Paul McCartney.'

Re: Heather Road
Sorry, I've got my hands full cleaning my own house...unless, of course, you're Paul McCartney. Hell, I'd even do windows!
