I love those lines! The Simpsons is one show that has never lost their humour to since they came on! To me anyway, and having Beatle references doesn't hurt

I love how they dressed Marge up as her favorite Beatle! Coincidence? I think NOT!

Yeah, I know. You hear references alot of the time. I wonder if it's Matt Groening that's the Beatlemaniac or his writers..or both maybe?

This hasn't been mentioned yet I believe. It's the episode where Lisa learns how to tap dance. In the beginning of the show, Homer gets his eyes checked and he tries on glasses.

Optomertrist: This style is popular with a lot of celebrities. (She mentions the celebrities and then mentions Yoko Ono).
Homer: Eeewww, she ruined the Plastic Ono Band!

Awesome Rolling Stone cover!

My two biggest loves, the Beatles and the Simpsons, lol. I like the George episode the best because it has so many Beatle references. One of the ones that hasn't been mentioned yet tho (i think) is that they changed Moe's Tavern to Moe's Cavern and in a different episode Krusty says something about waking up drunk with a girl after Woodstock while wearing a Beatle wig!

lol.the simpsons rule.and yes the creators and writers are huge beatles fans.if you watch the ringo episode on the season 2 dvd with the commentary they talk about how when ringo came they were told not to touch him and things like that and they were dissapointed because one of the guys had a brought a ringo poster to be signed(it was eventually)and they also talk about how they were surprised to find after all these yers that the beatles didnt do the voices for yellow submarine.great show that simpsons.
btw did anyone ever see that show family guy? it was a cartoon like the simpsons only funnier and it had a lot of beatles references, like one time when stewie(the talking baby) is playng the banjo and when hes done screams "ive got blisters on me fingers!!!!' and then theres another episode where stewie is demanding something and says "give it or ill do to you what i did to john lennon"and then thet show john at an art gallery and you see stewie saying "john have you met yoko?yoko- john?"
lol.dont you just cathcing beatles references?

The Simpsons is my Favorite show.
Remember the one where Milhouse and Bart break into Flander's house and find a secret Beatle room that has a ton of Beatles memorabillia including Beatles soda? One of the flavors was 'John Lemon'

"I didn't know you were so into the Beatles"

Flanders: "Of course I was! They were bigger than Jesus"

Looks like it's on some of the later seasons. I don't know was it a good idea to suddenly make Flanders into a Beatles fan for a relatively cheap joke.

If anyone wants to check out the episode, it's "Crook and Ladder" from Season 18.

Yup, that one (Flanders' Beatles room) was in "The Bart of War", Season 14.

I'm working on a video with Beatles references in Simpsons.
I just finished with the first 4 seasons. I'll let you know when I'm done.
