Those tees John wore throughout the 1970s up until 1980 were just too cool. I love the way he worked graphic prints.

Well, I believe they were in Australia at the time (notice the kangaroo in the bottom left corner?) and some fans were allowed to attend Paul's party. They had some sort of contest or something. Usually, in such circumstances, John was rather well-behaved... but I see some wine glasses in the photo, so anything was possible once our boy wet his whistle.

I adore this one. I think Linda's pics really captured those in-between moments so perfectly, and I love that you can almost see the anxiety or concentration on his face. I think it was a very tense and dark time for many of them. But there is still light there at moments. I love this.
