Default Tears for Fears - Falling Down

Quite a departure from Everybody Wants To Rule The World, this 1995 song.

Default Morten Harket - The Heaven's Danced

From Morten's 1996 album Vogts Villa, here's a live performance of the song Himmelske Danser; a song about the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). My English translation of the Norwegian lyrics for those interested.

Celestial Dances

Abandoned dance
Quicksilver feet
Glowing senses
Burning roots

Light in the body
Burns its way in
She can't stop it
She dances herself blind

But now she's alive
Tonight she exists
Now she can float
On feet of fire

The seconds hit
A wide open mind
If the body's on fire
The soul becomes a wind

Ah, heavenly dances
Now she got too close
She becomes what she senses
She is not here

Heavenly dances
Heavenly soul
Tonight you have danced
Yourself to death

Default Peter Cetera - Forever Tonight

Chicago's former frontman had a hit with this duet with Crystal Bernard back in 1995.

Default Hall & Oates - Change of Season

Live performance from 8/10, 1991 of the title track from their new, unbelievably underrated album of the same year.

"Oh, I need a change of season. Oh, I want a little springtime"

Default Alan Parsons Project - Out of the Blue

Just squeaking into the decade, here's from the 1999 album The Time Machine. The singer is Tony Hadley of Spandau Ballet. Just discovered this song today. Can't imagine how I'd missed it and me such a huge Tony Hadley fan!

Default Bryan Adams - (Everything I Do) I Do It For You

If you've never heard this song you weren't alive in 1991. It was a tremeduous success, both for Bryan Adams himself, who was at the top of his game back then, and as the soundtrack for the film Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. The song won a Grammy and was also nominated for an Oscar but lost out to Beauty and the Beast. Well, who wouldn't?

A few songs I liked were "I'll Be There" by The Escape Club, "The End Of The Road"- BoyzII Men, a few by the Cranberries, Paula Abdul, and MC Hammer., among others.
