The opening from the film Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out Of Balance. Music by the awesome Philip Glass.

And I have to include one of my favourite moments from Scrubs: the janitor giving JD the evil eye with Koyaanisqatsi playing in the background. Very creative use of music in a sit-com.

Default More from my beautiful Nicholas.

Remembering Nick Drake's passing 34 years ago, at the age of 26, after overdosing on anti-depressants.... "River Man".
From the album Five Leaves Left, released in 1969... he was 21.

Betty said she prayed today
For the sky to blow away
Or maybe stay
She wasn’t sure

For when she thought of summer rain
Calling for her mind again
She lost the pain
And stayed for more

Gonna see the river man
Gonna tell him all I can
About the ban
On feeling free

If he tells me all he knows
About the way his river flows
I don’t suppose
It’s meant for me

Oh, how they come and go
