Michael X a Trinidadian campaigner against racisim who worked in London who John and Yoko supported politically. He wasn't very savoury, however, having been a pimp and con man; he murdered someone in Trinidad and was hanged in 1975.
Anyone know the others?

Yes, that is photographer Paul Goresh who took the MDC photo. At first I thought it might be Jay Hastings who worked at the Dakota as a guard. Great thread Paulrus.

Someone on another forum where I posted this same topic thought that this was American novelist, journalist, essayist, poet, playwright, screenwriter and film director Norman Mailer with John.

Judging by what John is wearing in the 8th picture, I think the picture of him with unknown fellow was taken at the party at Club Hippopotamus for the opening of Sgt. Pepper, but I've been Googling images up the wazoo and can't find that picture. Number 9 posted earlier that it is Norman Mailer in the other picture as well.

Thanks to all of you who helped ID these people and who they are. Much appreciated! So, this is what we know from what you contributed on the all the forums:

--Ringo, Tony King of Apple Records, and John.

? and John.
--American novelist, journalist, essayist, poet, playwright, screenwriter and film director Norman Mailer with John.

--This is at his house at Kenwood in Weybridge.

George, ?, and ?.
--George with Eric Clapton and Delaney Bramlett. Probably taken during Clapton's 1969-70 tour with Delaney and Bonnie & Friends. George performed at some of their gigs "semi-anonymously." You can find clips of this tour with George on stage on you tube. Delaney Bramlett, who died in 2009, is often credited with helping George perfect his slide guitar technique.

?,?, George,?,?, and ?.

(Harold/Harry/Peter)? Harrison, George, and Olivia.
--Looks to be George's dad, Harold Harrison.

? and John.
--Is this Allen Klein?

George, ?, and ?.
--George with Derek Taylor and Neil Aspinall.

? and John. Is this that guy who photographed John signing the album for MDC on the day he passed away?
--photographer Paul Goresh who took the MDC photo.

John, May Pang, and ?.
--With Peter Brown. Brown was a personal assistant to Brian Epstein and The Beatles during the 1960s.

?,?, John, and ?.
--John posing with members of the WNEW-FM (New York) radio staff. The guy in the lower right holding the "Rock n Roll" album is Scott Muni, a well known New York dee-jay. John made guest appareances (usually just chatting) on Muni's afternoon show several times in the 1970s. After John's passing, Scott Muni began every one of his shows with a Lennon song for the remainder of his long career. Scott Muni died a few years back. The guy in the middle (closest to John) with the shorter hair and beard was also a WNEW dee-jay.

?, Yoko, and John.[/quote]
--Michael X (aka Michael Abdul Malik) a Trinidadian campaigner against racisim who worked in London who John and Yoko supported politically. He wasn't very savoury, however, having been a pimp and con man; he murdered someone in Trinidad and was hanged in 1975. At at his house in Holloway, 4 February 1970. John and Yoko cut off their hair which was to be auctioned off to raise funds for the London Blackhouse. In exchange for their hair John and Yoko were given a pair of Muhammad Ali's boxing shorts.

How about these?

Barbara Eden(?) and Ringo

Who is the man on the right with George and Ringo?

Beatles, 1963, with an unknown family and 2 guys. Anyone know who they are?

Beatles, 1967. Was this taken when they went on holiday to Greece? Was this taken in Wales when they met the Maharishi? Or is this taken around the time of when MMT was being filmed?

Is that Sir George Martin in the background? This is Paul, Denny Laine, and George during a session for "All Those Years Ago" in 1981, I believe.

Who is the man on the right? An EMI recording engineer? Looks late 1967. Was this for a recording of "All Together Now"?

Barbara Eden(?) and Ringo
Sure looks like her!

Who is the man on the right with George and Ringo?
That's Dick James, music publisher.

This looks like the viewing of the Magical mystery Tour movie, so would likely be November 1967.(it's not at EMI) All Together Now was recorded at Abbey Road in May 1967 (it was Paul's attempt at an 'Our World' singalong song which was eventually granted to All You Need is Love).

No, it's George's brother. The guy is only up to 10 years older than George here, not 30+ years older!

? and John.
--Is this Allen Klein?
Doesn't look like him. Could be the guy who put out 'Roots' the Rock'n'Roll album, can't recall his name now.

I think the 'Roots'/Adam VIII guy's name was Morris Levy.

Stowe school, where the Beatle gave a concert on 4th April 1963.
I was watching the UK Antiques Roadshow and the daughter, who is in the sitting in the front right of the photo, was on the show with her photo album with pics from that night. Her parents (the man and woman sitting in the front left of the photo) ran the school shop at Stowe. She said there was a lad at the school who was a Scouser, and he knew the Beatles. He invited them down to Stowe to do a show. She asked her parents that after the show if they would cook dinner and have them over. Her mum at first said no. For dinner they had roast chicken, apple pie, and a cheap Spanish wine. She said they seemed to enjoy it. Their appearance fee was Ł100. Her father was asked to write the check. In those days, the banks would send the checks back. Her family still has that check in their possession. After the dinner had ended, Ringo had asked the daughter of she would sneak off with him to the park or something, but she turned him down, she said.
--It's possible that one of the two lads in the back row on the right may be that mate the Beatles knew who attended school in Stowe.

The pic of George and Olivia with Harold Jr is right, I think. Because George's dad died not too long before or after George and Olivia got married.

Mowtown Star Mary Wells, the Beatles' chosen support act on their 1964 autumn tour of Britain. She'd had a big hit earlier that year with 'My Guy'.
