i belive this too, and moreover, there would've been an original composition (probably credited to all four). but i think that would probably've been it for lennon beatles-wise, other than greenlighting the occasional apple project- he no doubt would've approved of the recent mashups.

he would have been really sad when George passed and would have made a really nice statement.
and yeah, there would have been - at some stage along the line pre-2001 - some sort of Beatle reunion. How choice that would have been.
