Most beautiful (female) singers/musicians
As a follow-up to the thread I started asking for your opinions of the most beautiful women on TV, how about your choices for most beautiful singers/musicians--rock or otherwise?
My all-time beauties:
Nancy Wilson (Heart)
Sheryl Crow
Debbi Peterson (drummer for the Bangles)
Shania Twain
Christine McVie (formerly of Fleetwood Mac)
Martina McBride

I agree with a few:
Sheryl Crow
Shania Twain
Martina McBride
I would add these women:
Reba McEntire
Pat Benatar

For me, a singer's face IS their voice. That is to say, it is the voice that matters to me. So I can't answer the question in the spirit in which it is asked... Maybe I should start a voice thread.
Norah Jones is way cute, and has a fabulous voice.

First off, this thread is screaming for pictures. Second, I must agree with Amboisvert that the voice is so important. With that, here are some additions:
Gloria Estefan (in another thread Sandy Sunshine said Jim Morrison had a voice that turned her into a "squidgy heap" on the floor--well here's the female counterpart for me)
Natalie Imbruglia
and lest we forget the girl from Ipanema herself, Astrud Gilberto

I agree with Natalie Imbruglia. She is a natural beauty. A friend of mine went to a gig of hers a year or so ago and she said that she had very little make up on and was absolutely stunning.
I think Annie Lennox is one of the most striking-looking female singers ever.

I agree with Natalie Imbruglia too.
I'd add Liz Phair
Charlotte Church
Natasha Bedingfield
And two of the Spice Girls:

I agree with Sherly Crow and Natalie Imbruglia, and would like to add Katie Melua.
Funny nobody mentioned Madonna, so far.

I don't think Madonna is especially beautiful. Yes, she's had her moments, but the others mentioned so far are more naturally attractive.
Sorry I left out Liz Phair--she's gorgeous.
I liked Charlotte Church when she was still a child prodigy (and no, I'm not a dirty old man), but I've gone off her. A magazine interview with her did not put her in a very good light--well, she did not put herself in a good light.
She smokes cigarettes now! Can you imagine anything more idiotic? A successful young woman with an incredible voice actually begins smoking--not only a danger to her voice (which she apparently isn't concerned about), but her lungs, etc. She really disappointed me.
And Linda Ronstadt might have been a good choice a few hundred pounds ago.

If the Spice Girls get to be mentioned, I think Madonna qualifies. I do think she's pretty. Linda Ronstadt still has a pretty face.

I always thought Sheena Easton was pretty:

When I was teenage, I was the biggest Heart fan in the
world and I was a major Ann Wilson wanna-be. I thought
she was so pretty and so cool--she had a group with her
sister, had some of the hottest-looking musicians (except for
Howard, sorry), and their early albums were imaginative and
had a great variety of tunes: ballads, rockers, everything.
She was a Beatles fan, too, and I sort of related to her at that
age, 'cos she was anti-cheerleader at school and so was I.
She still has such an amazing voice and is still one of my favorite
female vocalists.
I also liked Linda Rondstadt--she was gorgeous, but had wonky
fashion sense. In an issue of Rolling Stone in 1980, she was
wearing a boy scout uniform, or parts of it.
This issue:

I wish I had a face and hair like that.

The neat thing about Linda Ronstadt is that she was beautiful in a way that wasn't terrifying. The picture of Sheena Easton above is an example of what I mean: women in music often get photographed looking mean, or predatory. I think men are supposed to find this attractive, but I don't. Ronstadt looks like she likes people, enjoys a good joke.

She is stunning. But I would rather listen to her sister Norah.
