Question First time

When and where did Ringo first play the drums with the Beatles in England?

After Hamburg and back in the UK, Starr sat in for Pete Best as the Beatles' drummer on 18 August 1961 and 5 February 1962. The Beatles removed Best as their drummer on 16 August 1962, after Best had played in the early recording sessions at EMI Studios.

Starr's first performance as a member of the Beatles was on 18 August 1962, at a Horticultural Society dance at Port Sunlight.

All I was looking for was the first time Ringo played with them before officially joining the Beatles. You have the date but no venue mentioned.

Need both date and venue for the point. They did two shows on that day at the same place.

all i can find bearkat..

When John telephoned there on Tuesday 14 August and
confirmed Ringo's invitation to join the Beatles, Rory Storm
and his group were just 15 days away from completing their
three-month stint at the holiday camp. But the Beatles' need
was urgent and, as Ringo had been keen to join them for
some time he had even sat in with them for two engagements
on 5 February, when Pete Best was ill he gave Rory
three days' notice and on Saturday 18 August 1962 took his
place behind the drum kit at the Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight,
near Birkenhead. On that night the Fab Four was born.

You're looking too deep into the question. You have half of the answer with the date but I need the place they played when Pete was ill.

Ringo appeared with them at the Cavern Club in the afternoon and at the Kingsway Club, Southport in the evening.
