Beatles 2010 Stereo Remix Collection (Samples)

The Beatles: 2010 Stereo Remix Collection is a project that aims to be to remixing what Ebbetts was to remastering.

The catalog is being remixed thanks to the primitive stereo mixing of the '60s, dead panning vocals and instrumentation, leaving fatigue to the ears. The Beatles catalog will finally be able to be heard in a new way, giving new takes on old classics.

Many remixes are in thanks to new technology allowing separation of the Beatles songs to remix them in new ways never before possible. Ringo's kit is now able to be given delicate care by separating each element. His snare, cymbals, toms, and kick can all be raised, eq'ed, compressed, etc... That technology allows songs such as "I Saw Her Standing There" to have a right panned guitar solo with Ringo's remastered kit to the left and additional retouching to Paul's bass.

In addition to the stereo remixes, Abbey Road and Let It Be will receive true mono mixes.
