Default Monty Python

One saturday night we gathered with friends to watch a dvd that one of them has recently bought. It was a Monty Python's dvd. I couldn't stop laughing!!! They are great! They're so hilarious!

Is there anybody else who like them?

Monty Python are the best, the humour is so brilliant!!

I could watch them all day and never tire of them, but I may bust a gut with all that laughing!!

I LOVE them. I've actually been a Monty Python fan longer than I've been a Beatles fans, I discovered them when I was 12 and have loved them ever since. I actually have all six of their autographs and a personally written (not typed, hand written) letter from Michael Palin from when I sent him a fan letter back in the early 80's. I've met Michael twice and Eric once and they're just as funny and nice in person. "MP & the Holy Grail" is probably my favorite movie. And John Cleese just make me laugh. Always. Even when he's not being funny.

I love the Pythons! I discovered them right around the time I discovered the Beatles. On Sunday nights in the 70's we got to watch their tv show. About the only thing I don't like about the Pythons is the movie, Jabberwocky (remember that one, Suz???) Most of the time tho', they have me in stitches.

I used to watch MP in the afternoon during summer holidays when it was too hot to go outside. My bro and I would get our mom to make us lunch and we'd camp out for an hour of Monty Python. Ever since then I've been a fan -- even though I never got the jokes when I was 12!!!

My philosophy classes have watched the Germany vs. Greece Philosopher's Soccer Game sketch, the Argument Clinic sketch, and as an exercise in logic we watched the "She's a Witch" scene from "MP and the Holy Grail". I also am quite partial to the Drunken Philosopher's song and, as a Canadian, how can I not love the Lumberjack Song and those singing Mounties in the red serge. I must also confess that I practice my silly walk whenever possible. :P

YAY for the Lumberjack song and their RCMP costumes!!

Your philosophy class sounds much much better than the grade 12 course I took this year...the teacher had no enthusiasm at all!

Holly Grail is hilarious, and I love every bit of it! And I think when he was younger Michael Palin was the most adorable man ever, well...aside from John and Paul that is!

The Holy Grail is my personal favorite, my appreciation for humor spun off in a whole new direction after seeing the movie for the first time in the late 70's.

You see, it's a simple matter of weight ratios.

Oh sure, it's just a harmless rabbit.

Default Ministry of Silly Walks

If any episode was symbolic of what Python was all about, this is it.
