Paul McCartney has recurring nightmares of audience walking out

Sir Paul McCartney has revealed he suffers from a recurring *nightmare… in which the audience walks out on a Beatles gig.In his dream Macca, 69, is singing From Me To You. He said: “I’m with the Beatles and it’s going great, then people start leaving.“I turn to the others and go, ‘Oh God! Long Tall Sally – that’ll get them back.’It all goes back to before the Beatles when Paul and John Lennon were in The Quarrymen.“The first time we ever played – pre-Beatles – I screwed up,” said Macca, whose UK tour kicks off tomorrow. “So I never played lead guitar again.

Ironic....people have camped out at venues where the Beatles and later, the solo artists were scheduled to perform.

When I saw Paul in 2009, I took the Greyhound bus over 200 miles to get there. Since there was no bus leaving Arlington after 8:00 that night, I spent the night with several other attendees at the bus terminal.

I think Paul McCartney is one of if not the LAST artists people would walk out on during a performance.

He might be b etter off if he cared a little less what we thought. I say that with love, but yeah...

His voice is not what it used to be, but we all get older, but there is no way in hell the audience would walk out on a talented legend like him.

Yeah, Paul still sounds good to me!

His voice sounds great on the new stuff that was written in that voice. But the old stuff when he was in his 20's and 30's now sounds strained. And since that's mostly what we hear him singing, that's the impression we get. Bruce Springsteen is an example of a guy whose voice sounds better than ever w age. But he's gonna sound strained on his younger days stuff. Range isn't everything when singing. Bob Dylan's voice sounds fantastic to me on his latest albums. The only way to get that sound is to walk those miles in his shoes.
