Default The \'Others\' Songs For Ringo

So what is your favorite Ringo song written by another ex-Beatle?

My toppermost of the poppermost:

"Six O'Clock"-McCartney
"Photograph"-Harrison/Starkey
"Cookin' In The Kitchen Of Love"-Lennon

"I'm The Greatest" - Lennon
"Six O'Clock" - McCartney
"Wrack My Brain" - Harrison (great one!!!)
"Photograph" - Starkey/Harrison

And although George is not officialy credited, he's said to be a co-writer on "It Don't Come Easy", which is my all time Ringo's favorite tune; and "Back Off Boogaloo"...

George did help write "It Don't Come Easy" and did record it a year before Ringo released his verion. It is one of my favorites.
Others include:
"I'm The Greatest"(John)
"Six O'Clock"(Paul)
"Photograph"(George & Ringo)
"Goodnight Vienna"(John)
"Wrack My Brain"(George)
"King Of Broken Hearts" (Hari Georgeson)

Don't you just love it when they work together??? Woohoooo!

I have to go with 'It Don't Come Easy' & 'Photograph'. I don't know why, but I've always loved those two! (Those two songs, that is. Although, I have always loved those two Beatles, too!)

Those are two of the best Ringo songs. Interesting that he wrote them with George. I did not know that.

I like all of those songs ! Not just because they were written by tha Fabs but because they were very good songs written by the Fabs ! But if I really have to pick my favorites (1 by each of Ringo's buddies...)

- John "I'm the greatest"
- George "Wrack my brain"
- Paul "Pure gold"

I still thing George should have, perhaps, kept "Photograph" & "Wrack my brain" for himself. Two of his best compositions ever, in my opinion (especially the lyrics for "Wrack my brain"..."sound" much more like George than Ringo...

I don't like to correct other people, BB1964, but "Don't Pass Me By" is totally a "Starkey" song... "It Don't Come Easy" is officialy also one, but it's quite known by everybody that George helped him write that one... Just to clarify...

Did you know that most of Don't pass me buy was already written by Ringo in 1964. He only finished it in 1967 and then got some help from the others cause originally it was a C&W tune.

I remember hearing about him being asked, during a BBC show (about 1964), if he was a songwriter as well as his bandmates were... And he answered he had a C&W song... That must have been "Don't Pass Me By". Imagine it in that rhythm, with acoustic guitar, a faster tempo, and sounding like "Can't Buy Me Love". It would be a cool experience...
