Try the Purple Chick Deluxe series. It has everything and they are grouped by album, no hodge podge mashup collection of stuff and good quality as well.

Has anyone put out the so called May 1960 rehearsal tapes on bootleg? Craig Cross mentions it in his "The Beatles: Day-by-Day, Song-by-Song, Record-by-Record" but that's all I know.

Again, try Purple Chick. The "Strong Before Our Birth" collection contains all pre-Decca audition tapes. Also, there is the "Complete Home Recordings", Volume 1 covers '58-'62.

If you want MP3 you can look around Octaner's Blog, If you want Flac, try Strawberry Lane.

Thanks, Dan, for the boss information. It's always easier to find stuff when knowing where to start looking! Great! I'll check out those links indeed. Thanks again!

Are the Purple Chick boots better than the Silent Sea ones? Soul Sessions, Revolving, etc?

I haven't really looked at the Silent Sea issues but at this point in the game, the difference in quality cannot be that much. What I like most about Purple Chick is that you also get UK LP and EP mono and stereo vinyl transfers with the singles from that album also both mono and stereo. From a quick glance both series look very complete as far as outtatkes are concerned but I don't claim to be an expert in that area.

Purple Chick has in any case the most complete collection of available outtakes. It seems also they upgraded to the best source available, which might not always be the case with Silent Sea.
So if you want to be sure, and want it all, i would download the PC series.

Thanks for the recommendation, I actually spent a few hours downloading the following:

The Blue Box masters of all the studio albums
The Japanese red wax monos of all the albums.
All the "Vol.2" (the outtake and studio discs) for the studio albums.

I think I'm going to get my hands on some more live stuff and things like that, and then I should be done.

I hope.
