hehe, I would, but I don't have a TV! Oh well, I will be seeing him live on the 5th!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!! I'm just worried that I will pass out or something, and make a real idiot of myself. My friend and I made a huge sign that says boldly 'Ringo, you're a star'. I am so excited, I think I'm gonna burst!!! Does anyone else who've seen them before know what his concerts are like?

molly,
i've seen the all star band a few years ago.
it's a good show. everybody does their hits, but it is mostly Ringo songs. it's not a Beatles concert, but maybe the next best thing
enjoy the show.
a splended time is gauranteed for all!

Strawberry Fields, it definitely won't be like the concert I saw at the Hollywood Bowl in '65, but you will most assuredly have a splendid time.

a tease of a concert.
two Beatle songs- "Yellow Sub.", "Help from my friends"
Ringo said little on the air, but did say something like ..."that's the show, now it's up to you", implying that there was an encore
short bio in the beginning was nice but short.

I saw Ringo last year at Summerfest in Milwaukee, Molly. He does both Beatle songs and some of his solo stuff; I don't think he did anything from "Vertical Man." He alternates between playing drums and singing out front; they have a second drummer to back him up when he sings. And as Joe mentioned, the other All Starrs do their hits too. I had a great time, even if we sat in back and I risked breaking my neck to see Ringo. But I got to see a Beatle with me own eyes, so I can die a happy woman.

I was off work today and saw most of Ringo on the show. he sang With A littlw help from my friends and the Supertramp dude sang Give A Little Bit. I missed his first song. He appeared to be in great spirits and having a good time. dancing around as he sang.

The first song was "Yellow Submarine" there was also a little synopsis of Ringo's life so far with interspersed talking bits from Ringo. The best part about it was just seeing Ringo perform live.

I was at that show too, SF! Trust me, be glad you stayed in the back. Some friends of mine sat there all day and saved 2nd row seats for me and the people up there were HORRIBLE - stinking drunk, exceedingly rude, pushing, shoving, blowing nasty pot smoke in your face....I almost had to leave, but I just couldn't walk away from Ringo!
