Rather silly article about who could be a Wilbury
I don't know what to think of this.

Lol, I love the Paul one. "Cons: writes songs about small children."

That would be .... interesting, especially since Petty's played with him a few times.

You can't "build" a better George. When they made George, they broke the mold!

I still believe all these posts about who could have been a Wilbury are totally pointless also because out of respect for Roy there was never gonna be a new Wilbury so all these so called `humor´ posts are in my view rather sad towards the Wilbury family.

Well, initially George joked with Elton about forming an "aging supergroup." Definitely George's idea, but George always seemed to find love and room in his heart to include others. He was such a love. I think he'd not mind the joking, in my opinion anyway... we all know no one replaces Roy.
Also don't forget in eulogizing Roy, it was George who displayed off-color, irreverent humor!

And at his own funeral, George had the song by Python "Sit on My Face and Tell Me That You Love Me" played to his wife.

Which indeed belonged to the "Harrison People" and not like Barry White or Freddy Mercury which I believe is just a disgrace to talk about.

Or maybe, like Aimee said, it's just rather silly. Some people might find it funny, some might not, no big deal, I think one would have to really stretch to find something offensive about it, it's just goofy.

Dion not only plays guitar, but he's extremely proficient. Bronx in Blue is a great album of just Dion and guitar.

Like the 'sigh' comments from Aimee I also don't like the so called 'funny' responses from the usual ones trying to be funny, knowing how the Wilburys thought of replacing Roy and later George, but, it's a personal choise about respect.
