"I Got My Mind Set On You" Karaoke Backing Track Help...

I'm currently in the finals for a singing competition, and one of the songs I'd like to do is 'Got My Mind Set On You', but finding a suitable backing track to use is proving difficult.

Does anybody have a decent audio file of a backing track of this song? It'd be really, really, greatly appreciated if anybody could help.

Among the various versions of it on one of the original maxi-singles, didn't they have an instrumental version of it ?

I have a 'maxi-single'.

On side 1 it has 'Got My Mind Set on You' (Extended version)

On side 2 it has
1) 'Got My Mind Set on You' (Single version)
2) Lay His Head

I can't play it because my turntable is not connected properly at the moment but I don't think that there is an instrumential here.

As far as I know there is no instrumental in the market. Official ones are those which Old Moon has with the extended version and the original.

There is one bootleg album as far as I know with Cloud 9 songs but that is no instrumental.

An alternative may be "Heading For The Light" of which there is an instrumental version which I can send you, but for a song competition it may be too "unknown".

If you choose to do Got My Mind.... make a youtube video of it.. I am sure we all love to see the salto act from the chair.

Go to this site (http://www.hotkaraokedeals.com/search.asp) and type "harrison" in the search box. The second collection in the resulting list has it.

But I can't tell if this is a place where you purchase then download the song collections or are mailed a CD.

Or, with the software you have nowadays, you could try and make your own backing track by removing George's vocals.

I've tried removing his vocals but sadly to no avail. I've been on the lookout over a few ofb the karaoke sites and they're pretty good - just wanted to check to see if anybody had a spare copy before I spend $8 downloading one.

The show may be videoed by the parents and I might post it if you're all nice to me. :-p

the video will only be allowed at Crackerbox Palace when it includes the salto act... apart from the usual guidelines...
