Default "Hey, has anyone ever told you that you look like [insert name]?"

Have you ever been told that you looked like someone? Like a celebrity or relative. Did you agree with them? Who do people say you look like? Has someone ever thought you were younger or older than you actually are?

Relatives have always told me that I look like my cousin, Lisa. My family forgets who's who. Lisa and I are also the same height, even though she's 23. My dad's family says I look my dad's sister, Sharon, if I leave my hair down. As for celebrities, I've been told I look like Mary Tyler Moore, Patti Boyd, and Tina Fey.

Now when you look at these ladies all together:

Mary Tyler Moore

Tina Fey

Patti Boyd

They really dont look like each other, so I suppose I look differently to some people? I mean I really dont see a match with Patti and I at all, same with Mary. I see more of something with Tina because we've got similar glasses and hair. I really think it depends on how I've got my hair or if I'm wearing my contacts. Once my scanner's fixed, I'll scan a picture of myself and then I guess we could determine who looks like who.

As for looking older or younger, I always get mistaken for an older than I am. I mean, I think I look my age completely. When my dad and I went to a John Lennon tribute show a few weeks ago, some women thought we were married! ('Course my dad goes 'I look that young?!') I tagged along with my auntie and little cousin Adam this week to Chuck E. Cheese. ( which, to those who dont know, is a place where small children go to play in tunnels, eat pizza and dance around with a giant mouse) I was running along with Adam, and some woman made a comment about hoe cute 'my son' was!

I've been told more than enough times that I look like Drew Barrymore. I don't know if I do. But if I really do, I must be pretty attractive. They tell me I'm a mix between her and Angelina Jolie (which is quite the longshot, I must say. Even I can see I don't look like her.)

I look like Snow White. Freakishly dark hair for such fair skin. I'm about one quarter Indian, too, so I don't know where this blindingly white complexion comes from.
I've been told I look a bit like Sarah Michelle Gellar when she had brown hair in Cruel Intentions. My boyfriend looks exactly like a young Mel Gibson, except he has curly blonde hair.

People say I'm a cross between Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt with a sprinkling of George Clooney.

I was called Mama Cass as a child because I was a little pudgesickle
and had long hair. It didn't really bother me because I liked her, I thought she was cool.

At that age, the only music stars I knew on sight were Ringo and Cass.

Lucy Liu, I guess I can see it, but not so much as her eyes.
But the most common is that I look like my mother :)

The only two people I've been compared to were Steffi Graff (by a guy who was hitting on me) and Nicole Ritchie (according to a co-worker of mine)... neither of which I see in myself AT ALL.

Oh, and when I was about 8, my neighbor thought I looked like the girl who played Alice on that tv version of Alice in Wonderland that was out in the mid-80s.

Now that one, ok, we had the same hairdo, light eyes, pudgy cheeks, etc., so I can understand that one.

Actually, this doesn't surprise me! You do look older than you actually are. Remember at Beatlefest when you ran into Tony, and he told me that someone recognized him....and that it was a young adult? And then when we all met at the AE concert, if I didn't know how old you were, I would've guessed late teens/early twenties!
As for looking like a celebrity, I've never really been told that I look like anyone in particular.

I've never had anybody tell me I looked like a celebrity, other than this one guy who said I looked like "That girl on television", but couldn't narrow it down any further than that.

That's right! I forgot about what Tony said! And thanks.

And you actually do look like one of my old neighbors, Starry. She actaully has ( or had, not sure if she's got her anymore) the same kind of dog you've got too.

Many times when I was really young it was Marie Helvin or Patti, but only around the eyes and face I hasten to add, would love legs like thiers! As I got older Jayne Torville

I think I am starting to look like the American werewolf in London........

I've been told that I look like a combination of Rob Cesternino (a Survivor contestant) and Dave Grohl...the latter of which I'll take as a compliment; hopefully there's more Grohl than Cesternino.
