Default Random John Thoughts

We have them for the other Beatles. It's time to have one for John.

John Lennon could be scathingly funny. He had a scintillating wit and a very original way of looking at things.

I love John's blank stare he has when he performing since he couldn't see, he just kind of looks nowhere, but somewhere at the same time...you see the others looking at something spacifically sp?, but John just looks like he's daydreaming....

I loved John's brutal honesty, even if it did get him in trouble from time to time. But, oh my, he did have a way with words.

But I also hate seeing how uncomfortable he was at times during the old Beatle footage. He did not seem to take to the mania as well as the others did. It's hard to watch sometimes, because you can just see in his eyes how vulnerable he was.

I would have loved to be friends with John. He was such a funny guy and very intelligent. He was and still is an interest guy, he lived quite a life I think.

"Meat City" is a hell of a song. Even though it seems I'm the only one who thinks that way.

I agree with you! Love the guitar on that one, plus the backwards speech...

John has the most beautiful voice in all of rock/pop music. To me, he is the greatest poet in popular music, too. I love him so much!!

John has one of the best rock'n'roll voices ever heard. So I can't understand why he was always trying to change it in the studio! Oh yeah, I love Meat City too! It has a really beefy (no pun intended!) guitar on it!!!

I love the way John says "whew, it's hot in here" after rocking to Be Bop A LuLa on the Lennon Anthology

I do think of John often. I love his voice on such songs like Cry Baby Cry and Strawberry Fields. He could have a very soft, lullaby-esque voice or he could have a rather raucous, intense singing voice like in Happiness is a Warm Gun or the Ballad of John and Yoko. He was undeniably gifted.

Oh right he couldn't see!! I never thought of it that way.... I had always thought that he was kind of.... I dunno gazing out at the crowd... taking in all the mania.... or tyrying to at least.......

Hmmm random John thoughts? I love his cackly laugh! It's very contagious.

I will say this random thing: Whenever I see John smile or laugh, it makes me smile and laugh

"Instant Karma" is a great communal anthem ("we all shine on").
