Default Underground Garage salutes Sgt. Pepper

I love this radio show...

Underground Garage salutes Sgt. Pepper

Steve Van Zandt
Little Steven's Underground Garage will be paying a double tribute to the 40th Anniversary of the Beates' "Sgt Pepper" album on the weekend of Saturday June 2nd and Sunday June 3rd.

Little Steven's own "Underground Garage" radio show, the 2-hour syndicated program heard by over a million listeners every week on more than 200 FM stations in the US, will be celebrating the album with a special "Sgt. Pepper"-themed show that will be heard that weekend.

And the "Underground Garage" radio channel, heard 24/7 on Sirius Satellite Radio, will salute the legendary album with a 48-hour "Sgt. Pepper" marathon during which all 13 tracks from the album will receive multiple plays.

The Underground Garage's resident Beatles scholar Martin Lewis will deliver a series of "Sgt. Pepper Minutes" throughout the weekend - offering historical insights, context and fascinating anecdotes about the creation of the album.

For those of you that don't have a subscription to Sirius Satellite Radio (and why not??), Sirius offers a 3-day FREE trial so you can listen online on your computer.

Just go to their website at www.sirius.com and click on "Listen Online" at the top of the page. Under "Online Listening Options", click on "Start Your Free Trial" and follow the instructions in the pop-up window that opens up. It's quick and easy, and there's no commitment! And did I mention, IT'S FREE!!

Unfortunately I missed it cuz I was at work. I didnt know Martin Lewis was involved with that though....the local classic rock station which has Underground Garage (98.5 WNCX) did play Sgt Pepper all the way through at 2pm last Friday though.
