Ringo Starr is one of the greatest rock drummers of all time & should get more recognition. He gets overshadowed, by other great ones, like Ginger Baker, Keith Moon & John Bonham. Ringo made the Beatles, with his drumming skills, just as much as John, Paul & George, but his legend seems to have faded somewhat, after over 40 years sadly. All you have to do is listen to all their albums to see what I'm talking about. It's great that he will get a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame next year. It's a crime that he hasn't & probably never will be, inducted into the RNRHOF, as a solo artist. Charlie Watts, Bill Ward, Joey Kramer, Phil Rudd & Alex Van Halen, gets almost the same treatement, as RS as well. Ringo Starr didn't become famous, just because he got a lucky break, as some Beatles historians, would have you believe. He's a great rock drummer, in his own right & if you don't believe me, listen to Abbey Road.

I would have said listen to Revolver, Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour. But Abbey Road also has great Ringo drumming. :)
