Default While My Guitar Gently Weeps

Now here is a kick a** song. Probably one of the 'best of' this little band. Now my wonderment is having an 'outsider' play on it was yet another brave thing the Beatles did. How many rumors or bad press did this pull out of the woodwork?

George's vocals next to Eric's guitar are priceless

While I do feel that there are some flaws in the recording of this song it is an undeniable masterpiece. I have actually been analyzing this song recently and have noticed that while Claptons guitar work is outstanding (the 'wavering' notes during the solo are divine) the rythem guitar playing on this piece is also masterful as is Ringos drumming. I think George also makes a vocal breakthrough as he is able to hit some high notes. I also like the wailing at the end.

A fantastic song really!!! It has to beone of the best of The Beatles, and specially one of the best of George.

It's a song to listen lying in bed at night, lights off a window open and loud, really loud. Well... at least that's how I like to listen to that song.

This is DEFINATELY one of their best! I don't think George is ever given enough credit for this one, it's certainly better than a lot of the Lennon-McCartney compositions. As much as I love George's guitar playing, I'm glad he asked Eric to contribute to this one, they made a great pair for the recording.

The vocals are also incredible. I think George should've been given more opportunities to sing during the Beatles days, he definately has the ability to be a great vocalist, as demonstrated in While My Guitar!

This is one of the most fantastic songs I've ever heard in my life. I love every second of it.
