Beatles on Mad Men
Last night's 'Mad Men' had a few Beatley moments. When Don Drapers daughter learned that her and Don were going to see the Beatles at Shea she went beserk, screaming, not unlike the crowd at Shea. As the end credits rolled they played an instrumental version of 'Do You Want To Know A Secret'. Televisions best show just keeps getting better and better.

I'm a big fan of Mad Men, too, and I was so happy they finally had a significant Beatles moment... earlier, Don had told his secretary to buy his daughter some Beatles 45s for Christmas, but the whole Shea thing and her scream was just perfect! He'd better take her to Shea, too... he'd better not flake on the poor girl. Sally's been through so much already...

A 1965 story! Has to be with Shea Stadim's first Beatle performance there in 1965!

I was so bummed that the series skipped 1964. I was really looking forward to the Mad Men take on the February arrival and Sullivan. Can't wait until Don Draper drops acid!
