Hey,
I don't have the game - or any Guitar Hero or Rockband games. But I have played The Beatles Rockband a few times.
1)can u create a character? Not that I am aware of. There are the four Beatles, and that's it.
2)Is online play good? I don't know about this.
3)Is there any problems with the instruments? Not that I am aware of.
4)Is the guitar like the Guitar hero guitar, if not, wich is the best and what are the differences? I have heard that the guitars for both Rockband games and Guitar Hero games are compatible. The Beatles Rockband guitars have the color-coded buttons on the neck and that "pick" tab near the "pick-ups" portion of the guitar.
5)Final question: Is it worth the 170$? I would say so. If for nothing else, the soundtrack and graphics are awesome.
sorry i'm asking a lot of questions but i want to know more about it No problem. Maybe someone who actually owns the game will be more able to answer some of these questions better.

I own Beatles: Rock Band on Wii but I think I can answer your questions.
1)can u create a character?
You can make a profile but not add a character into the game.
2)Is online play good?
I think so. Your score is shown near the upper right-hand corner and tells you where you rank.
3)Is there any problems with the instruments?
I haven't discovered any problems.
4)Is the guitar like the Guitar hero guitar, if not, wich is the best and what are the differences?
Rock Band guitars have two sets of fret buttons at both ends of the neck. The lower fret buttons can be used in the guitar solos and you don't have to "strum". Guitar Hero guitars only have one set at the top of the neck.
5)Final question: Is it worth the 170$?
I believe it is worth it. I don't play any musical instruments but totally enjoy playing the game.

The game itself is worth the forty or fifty bucks it is sold for by itself. If you already have the Guitar Hero controller, I would just stick with that unless you are looking to play with drums or with more people. Rock Band controllers really suck, they are uncomfortable to hold, it is more difficult to hit the buttons on screen and its hard to use star power with.
I never tried online play so i guess that would be up to you.
