George in Illinois
Hi! I'm new here so bear with me. Lol.
Does anyone have any info or links to anything related to the time that George spent in 1963 in Illinois with his sister, Louise? Does anyone know if there are any Beatles related attractions there in Benton, Illinois?

Check out the current threads about Lou Harrison's memoirs and the one featuring her interviews on Lou Tube. The house where Lou and her family lived is now The Hard Day's Nite B & B/Beatles' museum. Lou donated a lot of George and Beatles' memorabilia to the Clinton Library in Arkansas. If you do an online search, you will pull up a lot.
Lou co-authored Before He Was Fab which is about the Harrison boys, minus Harold coming to visit her in 1963. Her new book, My Kid Brother's Band is one Beatlephiles are eagerly awaiting.

I love French and Harrison stories and I especially love stories about Beatle George in Benton. Lou's book is being published by Acclaim Press.

Thanks! Awhile back I watched "A Beatle in Benton" on Netflix which got me interested in this.
