John and George's "special" concert songs.
After seeing Paul McCartney twice once at MSG in 2005 and at last years Citi Field show. I wonder if John and George were still touring and or alive what would there special songs be? Meaning like getting the crowd involved and fireworks. Paul has "Hey Jude", "Give Peace A Chance" for getting the crowd to sing a long and "Live and Let Die" for fireworks/pyro's. What would John and George's song be for sing a longs and pyros?
John
"Give Peace A Chance" or "Power to The People" for sing a longs
"New York City" or "Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite" for some odd reason for pyros/fireworks
George
"Its All Too Much" for sing a longs
"Art Of Dying" for pyros/fireworks.

What I know about George's personality, I don't think that he'd do any of those types of things. I'd imagine for his concert that he'd have a simple stage with a fairly "homey" feel.

Yeah, I feel very similarly about John. If he were to do a tour, I don't think it would be quite like Paul's. I was actually thinking that when I saw Paul recently at the Hollywood Bowl. I thought how great and enjoyable his show was, but how a John show would have been different... I dunno.
Anyway, John's showstopper would always be Imagine. For his Beatles tribute, maybe Help! or Come Together... or I am the Walrus. Not sure. I love how he played I Saw Her Standing There when he was at MSG with Elton John in '74... interesting choice.
George? My Sweet Lord or All Things Must Pass or WMGGW...

But he may have written an even better song between 1981 and today....
