Of Course My Guitars Have Names!
I have an Ibanez Acoustic V-Series, I named it V, (like Vee) not too original but it was a nickname I was called that passed on to my guitar. It has another name that I tend to call it, "Doc". My Classical Acoustic is named Betty.
My Epiphone SG is named Keith after my uncle who's from Birmingham. I have it's strap with the british flag pattern on it.

Mines called Brian, after Brian Jones . . . it's a Vox Teardrop, though it's not the same model as his.

Newest guitar is an ibanez AFS75T red TRD named Rosie, second newest is a 12 string alvarez AD410-12 named Sadie, and my oldest guitar is a takamine EG330SC0BB (discontinued) named Bluebell, or Bluegirl (she has a blue ocean burst finish)
it's good to know i'm not the only one with a guitar with a name and a personality. so many people don't understand why my girls get names.

My guitar is called Rosa (because her official colour is "rose") and my ukulele is called Kitty because she came with me and my friends to Kitzbuhel in Austria.

I've got an acoustic named Jude.
If I do ever get an electric, well, I'm still looking for a name.

When we bought our guitars years ago, my husband and I named them Desmond and Molly. Mine is a Hofner classical (not sure of the specific style number or anything... I don't have it with me to check...) and his is a Seagull acoustic that we bought because it was made in Canada and we loved the way it sounded in the store!
We just bought a Gibson Les Paul but we haven't named it. It's black, so we were thinking Blackbird? Too obvious?

My Hohner Acoustic's name is Berta, because the wonderful stranger saw me strumming my heart out on a First Act, and decided i deserved better. His name was Ernie, and i immediately think of Bert when i hear Ernie. but the guitar looks very feminine, so my lovely Berta was born. I had a Kay acoustic named Jeff, but my cousin smashed him. He was my first guitar ='-( I have a Global acoustic named Lil' Trusty, because I take him everywhere with me, strapped to my back, and he's smaller than a normal guitar. oh, and that First Act's name is P.O.C.A. (Piece Of Crap Acoustic) pronounced Polka like polka dots. I bought my friend a little acoustic from a flee-market and it had mexican designs on it so she named it Beaner the moment she saw it. Haha.

My first guitar, a Stagg (real piece of shit), is called April.
My Gibson SG has a name too: Victoria (or Vicky).
And I should buy a J200, I think I'll call it Shirley :)

well, currently mine doesnt have a name but im thinking of naming my acoustic (not sure which brand exactly) something after all of the beatles. any suggestions? i dont want to single out any one of them because there is no way on earth i could pick a favorite.
but ive had my guitar for two years. its time to name it. and now that ive fully dived in beatlemania i think its only right to name it after all the beatles! i need something pretty and funny, but not too sad. i dont know. something that relates to ALL of them, not just one. my guitar is kinda my personal tribute to them, its how i sing thier songs and its really special, so id like to give it a name with meaning. i know some people just name thiers whatever pops into thier head, like lulu or whatever. but...you know, the beatles are special, and so is my guitar, so id like to have a special name for it.
im sorry i feel so stupid saying all this about a NAME FOR A GUITAR. GOD. im an idiot, i shouldnt be this preoccupied over my guitar name! so sorry! i know its stupid!
