I love Ft Worth. 2 years ago I was there for 3 weeks on business. Ft Worth is clean.

Re: Tour
Well I saw ringo in Minneapolis the day before ABCKO. ABCKO probably had too much tea. He will be around soon I'm sure. You all should have seen him count down the days to All Things Must Pass re-release or did you? Made everybody else wish it would quick come out. Ha!
Well the concert. I read a discription on another thread. Sounds like he was dressed the same. Multi colored shirt, mostly green, with a picture of a person that looked like that Marli guy. Ragae singer. Black pants with silver down the sides. He emphasised the all star part of the band. They took turns doing their own songs. Ringo did play drums quite a bit though, different then what I read on the other thread. There was Ian Hunter - Mott The Hoopal? Roger Hudson - tell me people, what band did he do? A guy with the last name of Jones. Played keybord. Small blond Eglish sounding guy. Real good. tell me people who was this? Lake from Emerson Lake and Palmer on bass. Did real good King Crimson and ELP songs with the Jones guy on keys. A lady on drums. I thought they said Shela Lee, but after talking to someone here it might have been Shela Easton. They said she was from the Minneapolis area. She was a fantastic drummer. It was a great show. Ringo did want and get audeance participation. This was probably the most resposive cround I have ever been a part of. Went nuts after each song. All ringo had to do was hold his arms out like "da da" when a circus performer would finish an act. Croud would go nuts. Ringo would do it in the middle of saying something. DA DA and we would go nuts. He did not mention George. Said "a friend rest his soul" wrote one of the songs he did. I can't remember what song it was and at the time didn't know for sure, not as smart as you, but figured he was talking about John. Paul, nothing. When singing a Beatle song he said "when I was with that other band." He said after this song we usualy run off stage, you make a bunch of noise and we come back on looking suprised and do a few more numbers. We are going to skip that and do the numbers now because it is too windy to go off stage. ?? Wasn't very windy at all. A cool breeze.
Took my 22 year old son along who is very much into music. He liked it very much, to his suprise. Any questions ask and I'll try to answer. Pleqse tell me what you can about the people in his band. What bands they were with etc. Recognised the voices and songs but could not place. Thanks!

Re: Tour
He did the same rap at the end when I saw him in NJ only he blamed the heat for not wanting to run off and on stage. What a rascal he is.

Hi Roger, ABCKO already posted a review about the concert just shortly afterwards.

It took Paul several years before ho could play a Beatle song on tour.

That's interesting. I thought if anyone that he would have been the most comfortable of the other three to perform solo and include a few of his own Beatles songs. I guess it must have been just as hard for the others too.

Re: Tour
It seems to me they want to make it on their own and not as a former Beatle. jtal909 - have we met? Were you my teacher? Hope I have the name right. Once you start to post you can't look back to check.

Yes you can Rog - well I can anyway. Just hit the 'back' button at the top of the screen and you'll go back to the 'topic', read what you want then hit the 'forward' button and you'll be back with your new post.
Alternatively if it is just a new topic with only a few posts you can scroll down the page under your new post and you'll find all of the previous posts.
