I like them because they are an inspiration. They were pioneers. They showed the whole world that it is possible to be successful if have a passion for what you do. And their music, of course, is just great.

I just love everything about the Beatles, all four of them. From the music (the most important), to their physical attractiveness, to their personalities. Plus they make me very happy and they always cheer me up. They are also funny, especially in their interviews and press conferences. They are very inspirational to me too. They are just the greatest. No other band/artist/singer makes me as happy as the Beatles do.

Where to start?

They are talented musicians. They wrote great songs. They had charisma. Their music is timeless. They have sex appeal. Their music makes me happy. They worked hard.

because everything! Because their music is amazing, I can listen to them over and over and never get tired of hearing them. Plus they have these great personalities. I love reading about them and reading their interviews. I love them because they are four amazing people and musicians.

1. So many great songs. No one else is even in the same galaxy. And it was all done in a mere 7 year period (recording-wise, that is).

2. Their humor.

3. Their intelligence.

4. The efforts to try and teach the world that All You Need Is Love.

5. The way their four distinctly different personalities all meshed to form one amazingly appealing band.

One reason would be they are almost like a microcosm of the evolution of rock music itself.

That was the inspiration for my signature. Rock and roll was in a stagnatn place before the Beatles, and indeed, was a second rate genre, even with popular artists like Chuck Berry and those people. I think it's important to remember, in the 50s and early 60s, most music had been excepted as an art form. Jazz, Blues, and Country was all considered art. Rock had not earned that respect, prior to The Beatles (although, with people like Chuck Berry and Roy Orbison, it deserved it).

More like they reinvented rock and roll.

What I like about them besides the great music is that as largely untrained musicians, they had no restrictions or boundaries and were totally innovative and original in sound, content and style.

I like them because they are different and I like how they write their songs and how they have different insturments in almost every song.

I'll second this reason! I've got no fears having the kids listen to and sing along with the Beatles, unlike with the modern "gloom-and-doom" rock that my wife likes to listen to.

Hey, it was either The Beatles or The Archies (and, after awhile, Sugar-Sugar just really gets annoying).

Truthfully, I think it is because they never had a single "sound" because there were, in essence, four lead singers, who happened to be really good friends for most of their reign, and they were always experimenting with whatever their sound had been the previous five minutes.

They tinkered so much with what a Beatle song sounded like that the definition of a Beatle song just kept expanding until not only did their sound address the dancefloor (Saw Her Standing There), pop songs (She Loves You), anger (Sexie Sadie), humor (Bungalow Bill, Everybody's Got Something to Hide. . . ), political questioning (Revolution, Blackbird), societal statements (Piggies), simple love (Love Me Do), the listening music couch (Within You, Without You, A Day In The Life), the infancy of heavy metal (Helter Skelter, She's So Heavy), song stories (Obla-Di, Obla-Da), and so on, but no matter what vein the song was written in, we are still talking about them four decades later. They gave soul to their music. . .to the extent that even the crappiest Beatles song would be a crowing achievement for most other bands.
