I was just catching up on my "Adventures Of Brisco County Jr" DVDs when I caught a Beatles reference in the episode "Stagecoach". In it, Brisco and some other people are passengers on a stagecoach and one passenger is a professor played by Timothy Leary. He's an "herbalist", if you catch my drift.

Well, along the way, one passenger dies and the professor is asked to say a few words at the gravesite. He starts spouting Beatles lyrics! It's so funny! Here's what he says:

"When I find myself in times of trouble, I say, boy you gotta carry that weight. I am he - you are he - you are me - we are all together, speaking words of wisdom, come together right now. Amen."

I thought of two from Family Guy that hopefully havent been said yet:

Stewie: Fess up or I'll do to you what I did to John Lennon!
*flashback*
Stewie: Okay, Yoko, this is John. John, Yoko.

And from another episode when Stewie is playing with this country band and when they finish their song Stewie shouts "I got blisters on me fingers!"

There was a whole episode of Pinky and the Brain that basically summed up the the story of the beatles in about 10 minutes, it was actually pretty funny :D .

Just remembered there have been quite a few Beatle references on the TV show "Gilmore girls"... some that come to mind are:

- various songs, also solo, played during the show
- titles of some episodes, e.g. "Let Me Hear Your Balalaikas Ringing Out", "Here Comes the *Son*", "P.S. I Lo..."
- plenty of spoken references, like...

"Ugh, Rory, my brain is full. It has reached capacity. It's Shea Stadium when the Beatles played. It's cramped and girls are screaming and I think George is fighting with Ringo."

Something about people evolving together like John & Yoko.

Reference to the fact that Paul & Linda barely spent a night apart during their marriage.

Reference to Pete getting kicked out.

...and there are plenty more which I can't think of right now.

I don't know if anybody's pointed this one out yet, but here goes:

On Lost, the character Charlie (who is a washed up one-hit-wonder rock star) has a tattoo on his left shoulder that reads "Living is easy with eyes closed." What's even better is the fact the tattoo is real. Dominic Monaghan is a huge Beatle fan. Just so happens, it works out really well for his character. :)

I had no idea!
Way cool!

Wasn't there some group in that old Powderpuff girls cartoon that was sort of inspired by The Beatles? The group I'm thinking of were the bad guys, but I remember, vaguely, laughing about it as my kids watched the cartoon.

John Lennon is quoted by Jack Nicholson in the movie, The Departed, while John's song Well, Well, Well, plays in the background.

I also noticed a snippet of Baby Blue by Badfinger during the same movie.

"Where's Huddles," an animated sitcom that ran for 10 weeks the summer of 1970 had one episode where the Beatles were mentioned.

This show, set in suburbia and featuring two couples where the husband is a pro football player for the Rhinos was a summer replacement show. Ed Huddles, the star and his Barney Rubble voiced and lookalike side kick (Mel Blanc did the Barney voice for this character while Jean Vander Pyl reprised her role as a Wilma-esque character in Marge Huddles and their daughter, Pom-Pom) want to break into show biz. Their friend, Freight Train sings a fun football song and Bubba suggests that he, Freight Train and Huddles call themselves the Beatles.

"Full House," a sickly, cloyingly falsely sweet stinker from 1987-95 had these Beatle references:

1. 1988 - John Stamos breaks his arm and later his band does a tired version of "Help!"

2. 1994 - Stephanie's band is just taking off and when the drummer gets too enthusiastic, John Stamos calls her Ringo.

3. 1994 - John Stamos mentions the Beatles when he tries to save a radio station he loves.

On "Josie & the Pussycats," stupid Melody says in one episode, "Eat your heart out, Ringo!" just prior to banging on the drums.

Since this episode was a repeat, I'm not sure if this was mentioned but on Sunday's episode of Simpsons, Homer was paparazzi and snaps a pic of Paul coming out of the Springfield Dry Cleaners. (Holding a white suit that he just got cleaned)
